Job Opportunities: We’re Changing the Shape of Sickle Cell Disease
Improving the health and wellbeing of Connecticut’s sickle cell disease (SCD) community is our mission at Michelle’s House, and we’re excited to announce our partnership with mission-driven allies — CVS and the American Job Center.
The Job Readiness Training (JRT) program is an innovative collaboration designed to help Connecticut’s SCD young adults (18-24yrs.) develop employment skills and create paths to career success and financial wellbeing.
A limited number of candidates will be chosen and paired with an approved CVS store within their community. Eligibility requirements include, but are not limited to:
Must be a full-time resident of Connecticut
Must be 18 –24 years old
Limited/no previous work experience
JRT program applications are being accepted. You may request an application by contacting Michelle’s House. We encourage you to attend one of the on-site information session hosted at Michelle’s House on April 14 and 24. Details located below.
